Company History
JMB Construction is Nevada-based and family-owned. We work hand-in-hand with the project owner and design team to provide the high quality workmanship that we demand and the client deserves.

John M. Beard, a commercial general contractor with more than 30 years' experience, launched JMB Construction in 1994 and quickly built on his reputation for responsive, innovative, and efficient service. After John served a tour of duty in the Navy during the Vietnam War he began his construction career in California as a member of the Carpenters Union Local 152 in 1976. He transferred his membership in 1978 to the Las Vegas Local 1780, worked on many high profile structures and laid the foundation for a career in construction.

John quickly rose through the ranks of local General Contracting firms. From site supervision to estimating and management John familiarized himself with all aspects of the construction industry and became a favorite of his employers and clients, cementing professional and personal relationships that survive to this day.

When John stepped out on his own in 1994 he had little more than the money is his pocket to make JMB Construction a reality. Through his hard work, dedication, commitment to his clients and family, and extensive construction knowledge John began to build the organization into the company that exists today.

Beginning with a 50,000 square foot industrial freezer project, Henderson Cold Storage, JMB Construction became an instant player within the local industry and hasn't looked back. Today, JMB Construction is family-owned and operated and still building on its foundation of trust, respect and value.
